This website is now averaging 600 hits per month.

At 7.15pm for a 8.00pm start.

All concerts are held at FALDINGWORTH MEMORIAL HALL LN8 3SE, which is in the centre of the village of Faldingworth on the A46, three miles from Market Rasen and nine miles from Lincoln.

Artists perform on a good sized stage and there is an excellent sound system controlled by our sound engineer Pete Wray ably abetted by Helen Wray.  Comfortable seats are provided in rows and you are guided to your designated seats on arrival, after purchasing your reserved ticket(s) at the door.  This door is situated at the front of the hall abutting the village pavement. YOU MAY RESERVE TICKETS FOR FUTURE PERFORMANCES at the door if you wish.

There are lots of regulars AND people who come just for one or two particular artists.  All are warmly welcomed.

A bar is provided at the back of the hall. The bar is open prior to the performance and during the intervals. Soft drinks, tea and coffee and various crisps are available.  Beer and lager is for sale (not draft) as is wine.

Parking is free and available in a car park in front of the primary school which is situated on the bend nearly opposite to Faldingworth Memorial Hall.

Please contact Andy (see the top of this) who will reserve a parking place for you at the back of FALDINGWORTH MEMORIAL HALL.  This leads to the fire door/disability access at the back of the hall.

There are two intervals and the performance starts with a thirty minute set from a semi -professional artist.  There is then an interval at the end of which the first set begins.  The evening finishes at approximately 11.00pm.

Andy Watkins books the artists, promotes their music and provides and sells the tickets and sits on the door. The bar, hospitality and ample raffle is provided by Faldingworth Memorial Hall Committee without whose effort and goodwill none of these concerts could happen.  The Chairman is Dave Longden 01673 885369 - he doesn't do email!

IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF AN ARTIST CANCELLATION (this has happened four times in forty-two years of folk music promoting!) EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO FIND A SUBSTITUTE OF OUR USUAL HIGH STANDARD - but it may take up to 24 hours, so we request your indulgence.(posted by Dave Longden and Andy Watkins Saturday 17 October 2015.)
